Maybe I am not kind.
Seeing how many Trumpazoids are in the "Deadhead" ranks out of Generation whatever that is that would NOT be unusual. I get EXACTLY what the gentleman

means as regards Brent's tender lullaby. Like alot of Brent's material take Jerry out of the equation and you no longer have much of a song. But I would still likely mark Brent as my favorite of the Dead's keyboard players, though with Keith close behind and Jeff Chimenti not at all far back, Last time I saw any of these configurations in person was Ratdog in 2005. But I saw the real thing 82 times and the Jerry Band another 10. Moderate numbers in the wider picture, but I know of what I speak. One of Brent's daughters, a music playing one, does or did live with an old friend of mine from Chicago, now long in the Bay Area. And yeah that dude was a stone asshole for not getting his damned life in order enough to not fricking off himself upon return from Chicago, where I saw the last offerings of both he and Jerry.

give a flip about parenting so I just never really cared for Brent's lullaby. Kinda ironic that he sang that he'd always be there for his kids and then he bounced out on them. A very sad tale all the way around. Nevertheless, 1989 was a very fine year! I remember the next night at midnight, after all the balloons dropped and there was a break in the fantastic chaos, Bobby said, "My friend here tells me it's the beginning of a new dickhead, I mean decade." hahaha! good one Bobby, keep those jokes comin', maybe give us a smile once in awhile to let us know you're still controlling the weather,
